Doctors

Dr Stephanie Johnson (f)

MB ChB MRCGP DFSRH (Qualified 1985, Birmingham University)

Dr Johnson joined the partnership at Great Staughton Surgery in April 1995.

Her specific clinical interests in the practice are women's health, care of the elderly and diabetes.

Her partnership responsibilities, among other things, are: Safeguarding, Staff Development and monitoring practice systems.

Her other interests include gardening, baking cakes and handicrafts. She is also an active member of Godmanchester Baptist Church which involves volunteering at the Youth Club.

Dr Stuart Shields (m)

MB ChB DRGOG MRCGP DGM (Qualified 1991, Liverpool University)

Dr Shields trained at Liverpool University before working for three years at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital GP training. After a short time working in the Andover area he joined a GP Practice in March, Cambridgeshire.

Whilst there he campaigned for the community hospital, was chair of the regional commissioning network and helped set up community ultrasound and pulmonary rehabilitation. He has an interest in psychology, respiratory disease and weight loss.

Stuart’s hobbies include the army reserves, rambling, and wood work.

Dr Laura Grady (f)

(Qualified 2012, University of Cambridge)
Dr Laura Grady joined Great Staughton Surgery in August 2017 as a salaried GP. She studied at Cambridge University and completed her GP training locally.
Following the birth of her baby in 2017, Dr Grady will be returning from maternity leave in September 2018.
Dr Rakesh Modi (m)

Dr Rakesh Modi will be joining us in September as a Salaried GP.

He joins Great Staughton Surgery from his position in London as Clinical Lead for Medicine and Lead for Evidence-Based Medicine at Queenswood Medical Practice.

Locum GPs

We occasionally employ locum GPs to help us provide good GP cover.

Clinical Pharmacist

Working alongside our Doctors is Aggi Moszczynskiy who is an experienced Clinical Pharmacist. Clinical Pharmacists provide you with expert advice on your medicines and will be assisting the GPs, including undertaking reviews.
