We have a team of healthcare professionals to further expand the services we are able to offer our patients. Please contact the surgery if you would like more information on any of these services:
Salaried GP: Dr Deryn Evans normally has a routine appointment session each Tuesday afternoon.
Counsellor: Paula Williams offers counselling sessions on Tuesday afternoons. Please ask your doctor if you think you would benefit from seeing Paula.
Diabetic Specialist Nurse: Susan Alderman brings specialist skills to the surgery for the benefit of diabetic patients.
Primary Care Mental Health Team: A liaison mental health worker and a graduate psychologist extend the skills we have from the counsellor.
Midwife: Tara Pauley works with the doctors to provide antenatal care. She holds clinics at the surgery on alternate Thursday mornings.
Health Visitor: Alison Inman runs a drop-in clinic each Tuesday between 11.30 and 12.30 for children under 5 years old.
District Nurses: The Community Nursing team is based in Buckden Surgery and provide care to patients when they are unable to attend the surgery
Dietician: Christine Burnett takes referrals from the doctors for patients with dietary problems and visits the surgery by arrangement.
Chiropodist: Sue Walker holds private clinics at the surgery on Friday afternoons. Please book your appointment with Sue at Reception.
CAMTAD Hearing Help can help you with hearing aid problems, and hold a quarterly drop-in clinic at the surgery.
CAMTAD sessions for 2012 are: 31st January, 24th April, 31st July and 30th October: 2 – 4 pm
Blood Donor Sessions are displayed on the Reception Notice Board and take place in St Neots on a monthly basis.
