Counsellor
Paula Williams offers counselling sessions on Friday mornings. If you feel you would benefit from counselling you need to make an appointment with a Doctor first who will then refer you on to Paula for up to six confidential sessions.
She can also see patients privately for longer term counselling.

Primary Care Mental Health Team
This team consists of a Liasion mental health worker and a graduate psychologist and extends the skills we have from the counsellor. If you have had a problem with depression, breavement or anxiety then they may be able to help. Contact your GP for a referral to the team.

Chiropody
Sue Walker is available at the surgery premises on Friday afternoons for private consultation. Book appointments at reception.
Some patients will qualify for NHS Chiropody and the necessary referral will need to be made by the doctor or Nurse Practitioner.

Hearing Help Sessions
Collect new batteries for your NHS hearing aid; CAMTAD Hearing Help hold drop-in sessions every three months at the Surgery. Dates for 2012 are as follows: Tuesday 31st January, Tuesday 24th April, Tuesday 31st July and Tuesday 30th October (all between 2.00 and 4.00 pm).

Non-NHS Services
Medical examinations for insurance, driving, employment or other purposes are carried out by appointment. Doctors will also sign BUPA/PPA forms and private certificates. There is a charge payable by the patient for most of these services, as the NHS does not cover them.
The fees are as recommended by the British Medical Association.
